What Kazakhstan can learn from Panama's SEZs

It has been a while since my last post. It's been a busy few weeks.

I have a new article on Central Asia Newswire on what Kazakhstan can learn from Panama's SEZs. I was in Panama for two weeks during winter break (December 2009-January 2010) and visited Howards Airforce base. It was great to see an SEZ just starting up. We had the privilege of meeting members of Panama Pacifico's management team, who were also extremely welcoming and are still very helpful to this day. In addition to some of the similarities outlined in the article, Panama and Kazakhstan both share cultures that emphasize hospitality.

Please enjoy the article, and let me know your thoughts! Thanks!
